We share our vision to raise awareness of the need for neurodiversity in creating emotionally healthier, more innovative and sustainable organisations.

We have worked for decades with divergent minds – helping improve mental health and deal with the challenges in negotiating daily life; as well as teaching people to play to their strengths.

We operate independently most of the time and as a team when we have a chance.

Renée van der Vloodt is a psychotherapist, coach, supervisor and educator who for three decades has worked in private practice as well as in educational and corporate settings. She is based in the UK and has trained therapeutic and coaching professionals both in the UK and internationally. As a Fellow of the Human Givens Institute and former lecturer, Renée has extensive experience in teaching professionals to learn and practice the core principles of wellbeing.

Her teaching has always been informed by her busy private practice which is focused on the relief of the debilitating symptoms of stress and burnout. These can include low mood, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, addictive behaviours, communication difficulties, the fallout from big life changes, loneliness and isolation.

Closest to her heart has been Renée’s decades of experience with neurodiverse people. She has worked with all ages and with talents right across the spectrum: from computer wizards, scientists and high functioning business brains to artists, musicians and writers. She is all too familiar with the processing difficulties that arise from overwhelm and with the complex interior life of highly sensitive people.

Renée is also a trained teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion. She is co-founder of Neurodiversity Working, author of the CD ‘Calm the Chaos of the Creative Mind’ and writes a regular well-being blog.

Now more than ever before, it is imperative that we develop skills to increase our resilience. I derive enormous optimism from the fact that my therapy and coaching practice often effects major and rapid breakthroughs in the personal development of my clients. I believe that once we learn to work with our innate resources, the possibilities for sustainable change are infinite.

She is a trainer and mentor of coaches, works for the Executive MBA of Rotterdam School of Management and is an associate at SheConsult where she coaches professional women. Neurodiversity is an invisible phenomenon. Time and again I experience the lack of knowledge, recognition and how severely we underestimate the impact of neurodiversity in the everyday lives of people. Proper, well-informed support is essential.
